Valerie Sims

Valerie Sims is a seasoned Minnesota civil litigation attorney with extensive trial experience in courts throughout the state. She represents contractors, architects, engineers, business owners, and individuals in complex disputes involving construction litigation, design professional malpractice defense, property disputes, product liability, contract matters, and personal injury defense.

Ms. Sims has successfully handled numerous jury trials across Minnesota and is recognized for her strategic, practical approach to litigation and risk management. She is a Board Certified Civil Trial Law Specialist through the Minnesota State Bar Association and currently serves on the MSBA Civil Trial Certification Board.

A respected leader within Minnesota’s trial-law community, Ms. Sims is a past Dean of the Academy of Certified Trial Lawyers of Minnesota (ACTLM) and a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA). She has also been repeatedly selected to Minnesota Super Lawyers from 2018 through 2025.
